Black Mountains Brewing Co.
Small-batch beers brewed with Welsh malt and Usk Valley water.
Two friends, one ten-barrel kit, and a stubborn belief that good beer should taste of where it comes from. We brew in a converted cider barn outside Abergavenny using floor-malted barley from a maltings two valleys over and water straight from the Usk catchment, soft, low in minerals, and exactly what a clean modern pale ale wants. We do four core beers (Usk Pale, Monnow IPA, Black Mountain Stout and a rotating seasonal) plus monthly small-batch experiments that only ever appear at the brewery taproom.
